Sekyere Kumawu Youths Empowered Through Employable Skills Training Programme

A group of young individuals in Sekyere Kumawu have completed a transformative training programme with the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), equipping them with skills for sustainable livelihoods.
The programme has instilled hope and determination, empowering them to turn aspirations into reality
Participants learned about entrepreneurship, financial management, leadership, and technical skills in areas like agriculture and ICT.
Mr kwasi Amankwah the District Chief Executive (DCE) for the area explained that youth had unique aspirations starting businesses, careers in agriculture, or technology.
He expressed the view that with newfound confidence, they aim to create jobs, innovate, and contribute to Sekyere Kumawu’s growth.
He disclosed that, Youth Employment Agency (YEA) is the agency’s programme that has ignited a spark, arming youth with skills, knowledge, and determination to succeed.
He stated that the Participants envision a future of positive impact, poised to make a difference in their community, and with training complete, they are eager to shine bright and contribute to local development.
