From Ernest Best Anane, Kumasi
Mr. Agbenya Precious, a political analyst and member of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) National communication team, has praised the 2026 budget presented by Finance Minister Dr. Ato Forson, saying it brings hope to Ghanaians.
In a statement, Mr. Precious expressed confidence in the economic management of the NDC government, led by President John Dramani Mahama, and contrasted it with the previous administration led by the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
According to him, the Members of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) especially former Finance Minister Dr. Amin Adam and his colleagues are bleeding profusely because of the economic results being achieved by the government.
He described the 2026 budget as “one of the best budgets ever” and criticized NPP members for their reaction to it, saying “some of them think from their waist, and that running unsubstantiated commentaries on the budget.
Mr. Precious added that Ghanaians are happy with the NDC government and its economic policies, and are no longer considering emigrating for greener pastures.
