Sekyere Kontonkyi Calvary Methodist Church Marks 10 Years of Empowering Children with Compassion International

The Sekyere Kontonkyi Calvary Methodist Church Child and Youth Development Center, in partnership with Compassion International Ghana, celebrated a decade of impactful work with the theme “Thriving: Focusing on the Center’s Role to Shape the Leaders of Tomorrow.
The anniversary highlighted the organization’s dedication to empowering children, families, and communities to overcome poverty and flourish.
Compassion International Ghana has supported over 250 children, providing access to education, healthcare and essential services.
The Community leaders commended Compassion International’s significant contributions to community development.
Mr Kwasi Amankwah, Chief Executive of Sekyere Kumawu, promised support for the church’s initiative to enhance standards of living by reducing unemployment among youth in the district.
Madam Anita Effah, Project Director of Compassion International Ghana disclosed the organization’s support for children in the community.
She stressed that expressed that the partnership between Sekyere Kontonkyi Calvary Methodist Church and Compassion International Ghana compliment a commitment to shaping future leaders and fostering community growth in Sekyere Kontonkyi.
Mr. Alex Antwi, Assembly Member for the area commended Compassion International Ghana for their impactful intervention.
Nana Osei Owusu Ababio, Chief Linguist, Urged beneficiary children to make positive impacts, stressing responsible leadership and community development.
