NDC Grassroots Push for Julius Debrah as Flagbearer for 2028

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) grassroots are rallying behind Mr. Julius Debrah, Chief of Staff to President John Mahama, to become the party’s flagbearer for the 2028 general elections.
A survey by Mr. Abambila John, NDC communication team member, covering 275 constituencies, shows Debrah is the top choice among grassroots members. They want Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia to remain as National Chairman, citing his ability to unite the party.
The grassroots believe Asiedu Nketia’s leadership is crucial in maintaining party discipline and cohesion, and that he should focus on his current role rather than seeking the flagbearer position.
