NDC Government Committed to Supporting Farmers – Atwima Mponua DCE

Atwima Mponua, Ghana – The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Atwima Mponua District Assembly, Mr. Ibrahim Issahak, has assured farmers of the NDC government’s commitment to supporting them through agricultural inputs and sensitization to boost production.
Speaking at the 41st National Farmers Day Celebration in Barniekrom, Mr. Issahak highlighted the government’s efforts to enhance agricultural productivity. Member of Parliament for Atwima Mponua Constituency, Mr. Seth Osei Akoto, also appreciated farmers’ contributions and urged District Assemblies to support them.
The 2025 Best District Farmer, Mr. Yaw Asitey, received a tricycle, TV, spraying machines, cutlasses, fertilizers, and other agricultural inputs. He thanked the Assembly and government for the honor and advised youth to venture into agriculture despite job challenges.
