MTN Ghana has launched its Self-Service SIM Swap platform in Kumasi’s Central Business District, enhancing customer convenience and digital access to telecommunication services. The platform allows customers to replace lost or damaged SIM cards digitally, using *1333#, the myMTN App, or an online request form, with advanced biometric verification technology ensuring secure transactions.
General Manager Nii Adotey Mingle emphasized that the innovation redefines customer experience, providing faster, convenient, and secure SIM swap services. The platform reduces fraud risks associated with cloned SIM cards and compromised identification
