Deputy Defence Minister Reaffirm Ghana’s Commitment to Peace Building

Mr. Ernest Brogya Genfi,The Deputy Defence Minister, has emphasized Ghana’s commitment to promoting international peace and security at the opening of the Challenges Annual Forum 2025.
The forum serves as a platform for constructive engagement and innovation in peace building, bringing together stakeholders to explore forward-thinking strategies to enhance the effectiveness of peacekeeping missions.
Mr. Genfi underscored Ghana’s continued commitment to promoting international peace and security.
He stressed the need for peace operations to remain agile, inclusive and impactful in the face of multifaceted threats.
The Challenges Annual Forum provides a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange and the exploration of innovative strategies to enhance peacekeeping missions.
The Deputy Defence Minister disclosed that the forum underscores Ghana’s continued commitment to promoting international peace and security. Says as threats become more asymmetric and multifaceted, peace operations must remain agile, inclusive, and impactful.
Mr. Genfi expressed the view that the forum is expected to contribute to the development of effective strategies for peacekeeping and peace building, enhancing Ghana’s role in promoting international peace and security.
He noted that by fostering collaboration and innovation, the forum will help address the complex challenges facing peace operations today.
