Manhyia South MP Launches Soloku Festival to Promote Unity Through Tourism

Nana Agyei Baffuor, Member of Parliament for Manhyia South, has launched the Soloku Festival, set for Easter Monday, to promote unity in diversity and showcase local culture.
Nana Awuah explained that tourism drives development by attracting investment, infrastructure and facilities. He said Soloku will give Manhyia South a facelift, revive hotels and create jobs for young people. The event, designed as non-partisan, will feature indoor games, local food, entertainment and floot on the principal streets of the constituency.
He stressed that the goal is to build Manhyia South Easter Festival into a bigger platform for business, culture and opportunity.
According him, he is inviting ideas from all residents devoid of politics that Nations develop through ideas and that welcome everybodyβs contribution.
Madam Serwaah Akoto Osisidan, Communication Director, said the festival aims to bring youth together across political divides and constituencies and to create jobs and opportunities for the teeming unemployed youth in the constituency and the region.
