Kunsu Camp Student Qualifies for Otumfuo Community Reading Challenge Final

Miss Rose Korkor, a student of Kunsu Camp D/A JHS, has qualified for the grand finale of the prestigious Otumfuo Community Reading Challenge. Representing the Kunsu Community, Rose emerged among the top five finalists out of 60 participants from across the Ashanti Region.
The final is scheduled to take place at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi, where Rose will showcase her reading skills before dignitaries and a national audience.
Mr. Abubakar Sedik,The District Chief Executive for Ahafo Ano South West, has extended his full support to Rose, donating Gh¢1,000 and pledging to sponsor her education up to the tertiary level.
He pledge to also provide a bus to convey supporters from the District to the Manhyia Palace to cheer her on during the final.
According to him, Rose has brought honour to the District, and call on the people of Ahafo Ano South West to rally behind her as she competes for the ultimate prize.
The Otumfuo Community Reading Challenge, an initiative under the patronage of Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, aims to promote literacy, reading culture and academic excellence among school children.
