Jesus Cares International School Holds 4th Graduation Ceremony

Jesus Cares International School, a privately owned school in Obuasi, recently held its 4th graduation ceremony, marking a significant milestone in the academic journey of its pre-school final year students. The ceremony, themed “Academic and Moral Excellence Towards National Development, The Role of Stakeholders,” was attended by parents, teachers, and other stakeholders in education.

The Proprietress, Dr. Mrs. Amina Achiaa Asiedu Amoah, emphasized the importance of education in national development, stating that it is the bedrock of a nation’s progress. She called on stakeholders to invest in infrastructure, teacher training, and modern learning tools to prepare students for a competitive future.

Dr. Amina also highlighted the importance of community involvement, urging parents to take an active role in their children’s academic journey.

Dr. Amina appealed to the government to provide more support for private schools, recognizing the crucial role they play in education.

She emphasized that when students are both academically sound and morally upright, they become leaders, professionals, and citizens who can competently and ethically lead the nation forward.

The graduating students, resplendent in their caps and gowns, received their certificates and awards. Julianne Miriam Miller was adjudged the overall student, while other students excelled in various categories, including male and female best students, and most punctual and regular students.

The Proprietress announced that the school is preparing for its silver jubilee celebration and invited parents and stakeholders to join in the festivities. The ceremony was a testament to the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of the students, teachers, and families [1].
