Mr. Jubilidu Siedu, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Golden Dew Hotel, has donated a Toyota pick-up vehicle to the Nkawie Divisional Police Command through the Ashanti Regional Police Command.
The donation was made as part of Mr. Siedu’s contributions to the safety and security of citizens, particularly residents in the Atwima Nwabiagya South District.
Alhaji Musah Osman, on behalf of Mr. Jubilidu, presented the vehicle to DCOP Emmanuel Teye-Cudjoe, Ashanti Regional Police Commander, at the Ashanti Regional Police Headquarters. Alhaji Osman explained that the gesture was aimed at supporting the police in protecting lives and properties through effective and efficient patrolling.
Alhaji Osman advised other philanthropists, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), and individuals with financial resources to emulate the example set by Golden Dew Hotel CEO. Nana Appiah, a member of the Board of Directors, also made a passionate appeal to security operatives to stop harassing those mining responsibly with legitimate licenses and encourage them to contribute to the country’s socio-economic growth.
DCOP Emmanuel Teye-Cudjoe expressed the police’s profound gratitude to Mr. Jubilidu, his management, and Board of Directors for the kind gesture.
He emphasized that security is a shared responsibility and that the vehicle came at the right time to help beef security and protect lives and properties in Nkawie and surrounding communities.
The donation is expected to enhance the police’s ability to patrol and respond to security threats in the area.
The gesture demonstrates Mr. Siedu’s commitment to supporting the safety and security of his community and promoting a stable business environment.
