FrankCare Foundation Extends Christmas Cheers to Vulnerable Groups in Festive Season

In a heartfelt display of compassion, Ashanti Regional Minister Dr. Frank Amoakohene joined forces with the FrankCare Foundation to launch a multi‑site philanthropic mission in the Kwadaso Municipality and the Bosomtwi District in Ashanti region

The outreach, organized to coincide with the birthday of Mrs. Juliet Amoakohene, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of  Foundation aimed to bring festive cheer to those often overlooked by society.

The first stop was the Kumasi Cheshire Home and Rehabilitation centres at Kwadaso which provides care and supports for the Disabled and Mental‑health challenges and those recovering from substance abuse.

Dr. Amoakohene and his wife spent time with residents, reaffirming the government’s commitment to supporting every person on the path to recovery.

Dr. Amoakohene the founder of the organization disclosed that they  presented essential supplies intended to improve daily operations and the quality of life for the inmates, the moment he described as a reflection, compassion and gratitude to God almighty, as the festive season reminds us of our collective duty to uplift the less privileged.

The foundation also visited the Bosomtwi District and donated items that includes food items clothing, medical supplies educational materials and Plastic Chairs to two Orphanage Homes

The event attracted several high‑profile officials, underscoring the importance of collaborative action. Among those present were Mr. Evans Twumasi, District Chief Executive for Sekyere South; Hon. Faisal Dauda, Deputy Political Coordinator; Judge Louis Lamis; the Kwadaso Constituency Chairman and executives; and members of the KAFA grassroots network.

In a related development, Dr. Amoakohene addressed the pressing issue of substance abuse, urging families, religious leaders and stakeholders to take collective responsibility for protecting the youth within various communities “True development is measured not by the height of our buildings or the quality of our roads, but by the depth of our compassion and how we care for our most vulnerable citizens,” he remarked.

Mrs. Juliet Amoakohene expressed gratitude to all partners, saying there was no better way to celebrate her birthday than by bringing smiles to those in need. She praised the frontline caregivers and volunteers whose dedication, she said, forms the backbone of Ghana’s social safety net.

The outreach concluded with a renewed pledge from both the Regional Ministry and the FrankCare Foundation to continue supporting vulnerable groups throughout the year, ensuring that no citizen is left behind in the nation’s progress.
