Bosome Freho District Assembly Breaks Ground on Four Projects to Boost Healthcare and Education

Mr. Charles Appiah-Kubi, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bosome Freho, led a sod‑cutting event to launch four key development projects aimed at improving healthcare services and educational facilities in the district.
The initiatives include the construction of two Community Health Planning and Services (CHIP) compounds at Nsese and Korchikrom, a new kindergarten block at Mamfi, and a three‑unit classroom block at Fereso.
The DCE urged residents to support the contractors and ensure the works are completed within the eight‑month timeline. He also warned against petty theft, calling on the community to act as “watchdogs” to protect the sites.
Mr. Appiah‑Kubi appealed to the contractors to prioritize local employment, providing residents with income opportunities during the construction phase.
Traditional leaders (Nananom) from the various townships expressed gratitude, noting that the new facilities will bring healthcare closer to the people and improve learning conditions for children. The event was attended by district assembly members, traditional leaders, and community stakeholders, all rallying behind the projects intended to raise the district’s infrastructure standards and overall living conditions.
