Ashanti Youth Caucus and Ejisu Assembly Organize Football Tournament for Peace

The Ashanti Youth Caucus, in partnership with the Ejisu Municipal Assembly, has organized a football tournament to promote peaceful coexistence among the youth in the Ejisu Municipality.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Frank Basoah, President of Ashanti Youth Caucus, explained that the initiative aims to bring the youth together, unravel their talents, and foster unity.
He stated that the youth in Ejisu Constituency come from different cultural, political, and religious backgrounds, and we need to preach peaceful coexistence and unity among them.
Deaconess Jerryne Asante, Municipal Chief Executive, lauded the youth for their eagerness to participate, noting that sports can unite people from different backgrounds.
She disclosed that where there is no peace, there is no development. This tournament will promote sustainable peaceful coexistence and contribute to the Municipality’s development. And the need to always promote peace through sporting activities
