Ashanti Regional Minister Lauded MTN Ghana’s Support for Ashanti Fest

Ashanti Regional Minister Dr. Frank Amoakohene has lauded MTN Ghana for sponsoring the annual Ashanti Fest, describing the partnership as key to promoting culture and community development.
Speaking at the launch of the 2026 edition at Kaasi in Kumasi, Dr. Amoakohene said MTN Ghana has remained a dependable partner in fully funding and sustaining the festival. “As we pursue development and modernization, it is essential that we safeguard our culture and traditions. MTN Ghana has demonstrated strong commitment to this vision,” he said.
MTN Northern Sector Manager Simon Amoh reaffirmed the company’s support for initiatives that promote unity and culture, calling the launch a reflection of the enduring MTN–Ashanti relationship. He encouraged residents to participate in this year’s lineup of activities.
The event featured cultural performances and community engagement, highlighting collaboration between the Regional Coordinating Council, MTN Ghana and local communities in preserving tradition while driving regional growth.
