Ashanti NDC Youth Wing Congratulates Professor Brenya for His Promotion to Professor of Political Science and Public Administration

The Ashanti Regional Youth Wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the Tertiary Education Institutions Network (TEIN) for Ashanti have extended their warmest congratulations to the then Dr Edward Brenya for his promotion to Professor of Political Science and Public Administration at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi.
Professor Brenya, currently the Chairman of the Governing Council of Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) and Head of the Department of History, Political Science and Public Administration at KNUST, has been recognized for his contributions to academia and dedicated service to Asantemam and Ghana. Asumah Moro, TEIN Coordinator, praised Professor Brenya’s hard work and dedication, noting that his elevation is an inspiration to many youths, especially TEIN members.
The groups also expressed gratitude to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation for appointing Professor Brenya as a member of the Education Committee. Professor Brenya, a beneficiary of the Otumfuo Education Fund, is expected to bring his expertise to the Committee.
TEIN urges the government to recognize Professor Brenya’s achievement and promote him accordingly, especially in academia.
Speaking with the Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer, Mr. Osman Abdalah Nabali, he described the youth calling for Professor Brenya as in the right direction to serve as inspiration to the young and old academia to emulate his dedication and commitment to the party activities
According to the Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer of the NDC, Professor Edward Brenya has made significant contributions to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) party undoubtedly deserves recognition and Reward for his long time selfless and commitment to the party in the Ashanti region.
