NDC Leadership Pays Tribute to Deceased Government Officials

The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, led a delegation of National Democratic Congress (NDC) leaders to pay tribute to the families of Dr. Samuel Sarpong, former Ashanti Regional Minister, and Samuel Aboagye, former Obuasi East NDC Parliamentary candidate, who tragically lost their lives in a helicopter crash.
The delegation, which included Augustus Andrews Nana Kwasi, Regional Chairman of the NDC, and Mr. Isham Alhassan, Organizer and Political Coordinator in charge of government business in the Ashanti region, visited the official residence of Dr. Samuel Sarpong at Paraku Estate in Kumasi and later proceeded to Obuasi to sympathize with the family of Samuel Aboagye.
The team expressed their deepest condolences to the bereaved families and eulogized the late officials’ contributions to their communities and the nation.
The NDC leaders were accompanied by other party leaders, including Mr. Baah Achamfour, Acting Regional Secretary. Notably, leaders from other parties, such as Dr. Nana Agyenim Boateng of the United Front Party and Kenneth Nana Kwame Asamoah of the Action People’s Party, also joined the condolence visit, demonstrating a united front in mourning the loss of these prominent individuals.
The visit underscored the significant impact Dr. Samuel Sarpong and Samuel Aboagye had on their communities and the nation. The NDC leaders paid their respects to the families of the deceased, acknowledging their dedication to public service and their contributions to the development of Ghana.
