Moro Gausu Appointed Ashanti Regional Director of NEIP

Mr. Moro Gausu, former Administrator at the Ashanti Regional Office of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), has been appointed the new Director of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) for the Ashanti Region.
Dr. Frank Amoakohene, Ashanti Regional Minister, formally welcomed Mr. Gausu at the Regional Coordinating Council, expressing enthusiasm about NEIP’s strategic role in supporting the entrepreneurial ecosystem across the region.
Dr. Amoakohene highlighted NEIP’s significant role in empowering youth, women, and small businesses through innovation, training, and access to funding.
He assured Mr. Gausu of the Regional Coordinating Council’s support in deepening economic inclusion, creating sustainable jobs, and unlocking the entrepreneurial potential of the business community, especially young entrepreneurs in the Ashanti Region.
The Regional Minister expressed optimism about the potential for impactful collaboration between NEIP and all stakeholders in the region.
He looks forward to a renewed era of partnership that would drive economic growth, innovation, and entrepreneurship in the Ashanti Region.
According to him, with NEIP’s focus on creating sustainable jobs and driving economic growth, Mr. Gausu’s appointment is expected to have a significant impact on the local economy.
The Ashanti Region is known for its entrepreneurial spirit, with many small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating in the region.
