MTN Ghana has donated GH¢10,000, a ram and assorted food items to the Ashanti Regional Chief Imam ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr, as part of its annual Ramadan outreach.

Senior Manager for the Northern Sector Simon Amoh said the gesture reflects MTN’s commitment to customers and to promoting inclusivity, unity and peaceful coexistence. “This donation is to support the Muslim community during this sacred period and to reaffirm our commitment to standing with our customers,” he said.

Ustaz Ahmed Seidu, Executive Secretary at the Imam’s office, received the items and expressed appreciation for MTN’s consistent support, noting it brings relief to the less privileged during Ramadan.

The annual donation underscores MTN Ghana’s corporate social responsibility drive and its engagement with communities across religious and cultural lines.
