Free Zones Authority Donates GH₵300,000 to Ghana Medical Trust Fun

The Ghana Free Zones Authority has donated GH₵300,000 to the Ghana Medical Trust Fund as part of its corporate social responsibility initiative. The contribution aims to help build a strong and healthy workforce for the citizens.

Dr. Mary Awuzi, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Authority, expressed optimism that the act of solidarity would inspire other institutions to emulate. She emphasized the importance of a healthy workforce and the Authority’s responsibility to support the initiative.

Madam Obuobia Darko-Poku, Administrator of the Ghana Medical Trust Fund, expressed gratitude to the Free Zones Authority and hoped for continued cooperation. She disclosed that the Fund is building infrastructure, investing in medical equipment, and training officers to tackle non-communicable diseases.
