NPP’s Dr. Charles Dwamena Declares Bid for General Secretary

Dr. Charles Dwamena, affectionately known as “China”, a prominent figure in the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has announced his intention to contest for the position of General Secretary in the upcoming National Executives Elections.
Speaking to the media, Dr. Dwamena emphasized the need for unity within the party as it gears up for the 2028 elections. He expressed confidence in his ability to foster togetherness and unity, stating that he is the best candidate to lead the party forward.
According to him, the party is at a crossroads, and must work together to win the 2028 elections.
Dr. Dwamena stressed that he is poised to restore unity, rebuild strength, and rescue the party from disunity.
He urged party members, especially the grassroots, to prioritize unity and recognize their shared goal of recapturing political power. Says we are a family with a common goal, and must work together to make the party vibrant and attractive to the masses.
He promised to improve communication and instill discipline within party.
