Ahafo Ano South West District Assembly Celebrates Staff with End‑of‑Year Party

The Ahafo Ano South West District Assembly Welfare Committee, in partnership with District Chief Executive (DCE) Mr. Abubakar Sedik, hosted an end‑of‑year party for assembly employees on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. The colourful gathering brought together staff from all departments and units, offering an opportunity to unwind, share experiences and reflect on the year’s achievements and challenges.
In his address, Hon. Sedik praised the workforce for their hard work, professionalism and sacrifices that have underpinned the district’s development agenda. He said the progress recorded would not have been possible without the collective effort of every employee and urged them to maintain their dedication in the coming year.
As part of the celebration, the DCE presented cash awards to a number of staff members in recognition of outstanding performance and commitment. He explained that the gesture aimed to motivate employees and foster a culture of excellence, dedication and teamwork within the assembly.
Welfare Chairman James Korkor thanked the DCE and assembly management for their continued support of staff welfare, and expressed appreciation to all workers for their cooperation and contributions to welfare activities throughout the year.
The event featured music, refreshments and informal social interaction, strengthening bonds among the assembly’s staff and reinforcing a sense of unity as the district looks ahead to the new year.
