Sanitation Hygiene is Key to Healthy Lifestyle, Sekyere Kumawu DCE

Mr Kwasi Amankwah, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Sekyere Kumawu has entreated the residents to take sanitation hygiene as a priority to reduce the cost of their healthcare expenses.
According to him, Sanitation Hygiene is very Paramount to a healthy lifestyle always,and that the need to recognize healthcare as a priority.
He made the called at Bodomase a suburb of Kumawu in a clean up exercise as part of the government’s National Sanitation Day with Massive Community Turnout
He stated that the National Sanitation Day exercise held at community was a resounding success, and commended the enthusiastic participation of the community. Chiefs, Stakeholders and leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) party, including Assembly members, and staff from the Sekyere Kumawu District Assembly.
He observed that the exercise showcased the community’s commitment to keeping their environment clean and healthy.
He indicated that the joint effort between the community, chiefs, elders, and district assembly staff was instrumental in making the event a success.
The DCE disclosed that the success of the National Sanitation Day exercise at Bodomase serves as an example for other communities to follow, demonstrating the power of collective action in promoting public health and sanitation.
He expressed the view that the exercise is part of a broader effort to build a cleaner and healthier Sekyere Kumawu.
